The A&G Networks line card is a transparent two-port, copper-to fiber media converter that can be set to either 1000Mbps on both ports. This line card is supported in all A&G Networks chassis options. Preconfigured media converters offer transparent integration of fiber optic connectivity. the EL900/9000 will provide flawless communication when you need it most. The RJ-45 ports on these units provide Auto-MDIX and auto-negotiation. The link-fault-pass-through feature allows the network management agent on adjacent equipment to react to a broken link.
